Art summer work for 6th, 7th, and 8th

Sneaker:
Create your own sneaker. You can use the sample below to draw your shoe or look at one that you have. Then be creative and make it your own. You can use patterns, designs or color .
Be creative.
Sample of sneaker below.

OP-optical art:
On a piece of paper, with a pencil, draw a slightly curvy line in the middle of the paper, from one edge of the paper to the other. Next, with a pencil, draw 8 small dots anywhere on the line, with two of the dots close to the edges. Than connect the dots with curve lines using a black marker or sharpie. Repeat until you are done with the top and bottom of the paper. Always go to the dots when drawing the lines. Color with colored pencils.
Sample below.

Objects in detail:
Pick any kind of object, like a fork, a watch, a spoon, a cloth pin, a belt, etc. Next divide the paper in 6 parts. Put the object in front of you and draw it in 6 different views, one in each space. Trace it with black and color it! Don’t forget that you have to draw the details.
Sample below.

Portrait:
Draw YOUR face in the middle of the paper. Remember to use the most of the space for your drawing. Next divide the face in half. Then, on one side of the face you are going to draw things that represent YOU, and on the other side of the face you are going to finish drawing YOU. Be creative. Finally color your work.

Edward Munch:
Munch is an artist know by his painting “The Scream”. Start by researching his life and write a couple paragraphs about what you learned. Next, look at his painting “The Scream” and try to draw it the best you can by adding your own twist. Finally color or paint.
Have fun and have a great summer!!!
