1st, 2nd art project for week of May 11-May 15 -Crayon transfer technique

Hi!This week you are going to learn a crayon technique. Use your crayons to make a pattern, blob, or anything on a piece of paper. It works better if you use thin paper like copy paper. The key is to press hard with your crayons to get a thick layer of waxy color down on your paper. When your paper is covered you can flip your crayon paper so it is face down over a piece of blank paper. Using a pencil, draw (press firmly) whatever you want to do. When you are finish, lift your crayon paper off to reveal the magic! Be creative and have fun.
Below is a sample of what to do.
