Abstract:
On a piece of paper draw scribble lines all over the paper. Next, trace all the lines with a black crayon or colored pencil. Finally color the whole paper with different colors! The more colors you use the better it looks.
Sample is below.

Drawing a cat using shapes:
On a piece of paper draw a line on the bottom to make the fence. Next draw a few lines vertically. Then draw a big triangle on top of the line and after draw another triangle, the same size, the opposite way on top of the first triangle. Draw small ovals for eyes, a small triangle for nose and two triangles for the ears. Draw the mouth and whiskers. Next, draw the moon. Color with crayons or markers. If you have paint use it!!
Have fun.

On a piece of paper draw a big circle in the middle. Use anything that you can find  around the house to help you draw the circle. Next draw a line in the middle of the circle and than two more lines. Your circle will be divided into 6 parts. Then draw the head, legs and tail. Finally color the way it shows on the sample below. Primary colors- red, yellow, and blue. Secondary colors - orange, green, and blue. Finally add some curvy lines to make the water.
